Subscribe to Pro while North is in beta and $20 a month is your price for as long as you stay subscribed — through launch, through any price change, through whatever Pro grows into. If pricing ever moves, it moves for people who haven’t joined yet, never for you. There’s no countdown on this: the founding window is simply the beta, and you’ll get plain notice, well ahead of time, before it closes.

Free deepens, never shrinks

If you found a feature on Free, it stays on Free. Things you depend on never move behind a paywall — that cuts against every growth playbook, and it's the point.

Your price never rises on you

Price changes only ever apply to people who haven't signed up yet. Whatever you pay when you join is what you keep paying, for as long as you stay.

Paying more only ever buys new things

If we charge for something someday, it'll be something new we built — never something you already had, re-wrapped and re-gated.

No cut of your money, ever

North is a flat subscription and nothing else. Your invoices are paid straight to your own Stripe account — no take-rate, no per-invoice fee, no percentage. Your money doesn't pass through us.

Leaving is easy, on purpose

Full export of every client, project, proposal, contract, and invoice — any time, on any plan. If North is good enough, you'll stay because you want to. Holding your data hostage isn't a business model we're willing to have.

Where’s the catch?

Fair question — plenty of tools bait free and squeeze later. Here are the answers, on the record.

The real product, not a demo. You talk to the same North, with unlimited clients and projects — proposals, contracts with e-signing, invoices, the client portal, all of it. At full launch, Free includes 3 AI proposals a month; everything else is uncapped. And right now, during the beta, even the proposal cap is off.

Nothing dramatic. Everything you've already made stays exactly where it is — the limit only applies to drafting new AI proposals, and it resets on the 1st of every month. If you're sending more than three a month, that's the moment Pro starts paying for itself. (During the beta there's no limit at all.)

Never. Your clients pay you directly — your Stripe account, your money, no percentage, no per-invoice fee, on Free and Pro alike. North charges a flat subscription and nothing else. That's a commitment, not a feature we might revisit.

It leaves with you. Every client, project, proposal, contract, and invoice is downloadable at any time, on any plan — as structured JSON and as a readable document. Cancelling is one link, there's no retention maze, and nothing you made gets deleted or held hostage.

No. If pricing ever changes, it changes for new signups only — whatever you pay when you join is what you keep paying. And if you subscribe to Pro during the beta, the $20 founding price is yours for as long as you stay subscribed.

Because North is in open beta and we'd rather earn the subscription than presume it. Everything is free and uncapped while we finish building. You'll always get plain notice before anything is charged, and nothing you make during the beta is ever taken away — whichever plan you land on.
