//What North does
what it does, one job at a time
One page per thing North actually does, written around the moment you would reach for it. Each one says how the thing works, where it stops, and what stays yours.
Proposals
A proposal drafted from your call notes
The call was on Thursday. The proposal is due whenever you get to it, which is Sunday night. North turns the notes into a first draft you correct instead of a blank page you dread, and nothing leaves until you send it.
OpenPricing
Three options, with the arithmetic showing
The number you said on the call at 4:52 is the number you regretted by six. North prices the proposal as three honestly different amounts of work, defends each figure in plain language, and puts the sums on the page where the client can check them.
OpenContracts
A contract that arrives with the yes
Most small projects run on a handshake because the contract would have been a second document, sent later, that nobody wanted to be the one to bring up. North drafts the agreement alongside the proposal and shows it to the client the moment they accept.
OpenThe deal room
A room your client signs in, not an attachment they forward
The proposal you sent as a PDF is now an attachment in somebody else's inbox, forwarded to a business partner with nine words of context above it. North gives the client a private link instead: one place to read, decide, sign, see progress and pay, carrying your name.
OpenDelivery
Stages your client can watch
In week four the email arrives: "just checking in, where are we?" The signed proposal already said where you would be. North turns the accepted option into a delivery schedule the client can see for themselves, and turns finished stages into invoice lines that remember what has been billed.
OpenInvoicing
Invoices, sent and tracked, on every plan
The invoice you meant to send on the thirtieth went out on the ninth of the next month, and net-30 became net-whenever. North drafts the invoice from the delivered work, tells you the moment the client opens it, writes the reminder when it goes late, and never sends any of it without you.
OpenGetting paid
Card payment on your own Stripe account
The client asks "can I just pay by card?" and the answer, for most freelancers, is a PayPal link with a fee they never priced in, or a bank transfer that arrives on Thursday. North puts a card button on the invoice, runs the checkout on your own Stripe account, and takes nothing from the payment.
OpenMoney
The money, across every client at once
Your bank app is the only place your year is written down, and it only knows what has already arrived. North's money view shows what is outstanding, what has come in, and what is coming and roughly when, by client and by name, so a slow month is visible in April rather than in June.
OpenYour brand
Your name on everything the client sees
You spent a decade learning to make things look like they came from somewhere. Then your invoicing tool put "Powered by" on the bottom of the invoice. Every document North produces carries your logo, your colour and your name, on every plan, because your brand was never going to be an upgrade.
OpenTalking to North
Ask it what the client actually said
"What did Vic say about the deadline?" is a question you currently answer by searching your inbox. North is a panel you can open from anywhere in the workspace that knows your clients, your projects, and the notes clients have left, and that drafts the next thing when you ask it to.
